Selena Gomez released her lead single Come & Get It off her future summer album over the weekend after it was leaked a couple of days early. Gomez planned to perform this song on the 2013 MTV Movie Awardson April 14th.
The song has a fun party vibe to it! She mentions being “addicted for life” and how “this love aint’t finished yet”. Whether she is talking about her last love (Justin Bieber) or not, fans will always paint the picture that way. It creates an extra element to a song that brings it to life! Gomez also says “This love will be the death of me…but I know..I’ll die happily”, lyrics that I’m sure many of us can relate to!

According to the Wall Street Journal rapper/businessman Shawn ” Jay Z” Carter has inked a new multiyear deal with Universal Music Group. This deal will allow Jay Z to release his next album and also of other top- selling artist such as Rihanna. Jay Z is quoted saying that this deal will allow Roc Nation to “continue to operate as an independent label with the strength, power and reach of the best major.”
Universal Chief Executive Lucian Grainge said Roc Nation has swiftly become “one of the most successful brands in music with a reputation for developing some of today¹s most influential and popular talent.”
Does that mean J. Cole sophomore project will be Roc Nation/ Universal ? Smart move for Mr. Carter ??

Over the weekend Ray J released the artwork for this controversial single ” I Hit It First”. From the title we can tell what this song is about …. Kim K. Ray J boasts about putting Kim K on and hitting it first. He also says “She might move on to rappers and ballplayers….But we all know I hit it first.” He’s referring to Reggie Bush, Kris Humphries and Kanye West. But Ray J doesn’t stop there he also goes on to say “Had her head going North and her ass going South ….But now baby chose to go West.” a blatant shot at Mr. Kanye West.
